The Sun Shines in Aries – Spring has definitely sprung!

Glade - Take Two
What lovely, inviting, promising, and energizing energy the Aries Sun brings to us all! Whew!  It is surely welcomed since the watery energy of the Pisces new moon last week was nearly suffocating in nature (perhaps that is the nature of Jupiter in Pisces, expanding it’s essence).   Although it was a very trusting and loving new moon, it was so heavy it felt like it would collapse upon itself.  So this engaging, stimulating fire that Aries ushers in is so very welcoming and full of wonderful relief! No wonder the Aries archetype has boundless energy, can be impulsive, and a warrior of sorts – it has a great plan with new beginnings, releasing all of the past, and compelling the rest of the zodiac to move ahead no matter what!

Metabolizing all of this Aries energy creates change within the body, I’m noticing that the liver is waking up and can be a bit crabby and irritable. Thankfully I re-discovered my Juvatone and JuvaFlex oils and that has been soothing and easing to my mood and will. I’ve even layered the blend Joy over my liver, as well as Surrender and it has made this transition into this exciting energy easier.

My adrenals, which are ruled by Mars, and Mars rules Aries, have been hungry, hungry, hungry! I am amazed at all of the raw glandular supplements, especially raw adrenal that my body is asking for, not to mention the cast of supporting vitamins and minerals. Mineral Essence and True Source are essentials this month, if not to double up on what you are already taking since Mars was retrograde for so long, the adrenals were hampered as well.  Supporting the blood with Ningxia Red and Rehemogen are naturals this time of year.

And, hello greenery, and green juices! Green lemonade is tasting just divine this year. I’m even tempted to go start “harvesting” my Creeping Charlie weeds to juice them, Creeping Charlie is just so lovely for liver functioning this time of year.

Physically, this is the time to take care of your head and  face, and all of the contents within! Getting a facial, this would be the best time to do that! As well as paying extra attention to your upper jaw and gums, your sinuses, and supporting the health of your eyes, ears, and nasal cavities. Massage your scalp, and massage your neurovascular points this month, your head will certainly appreciate it.

Treat yourself, and this month especially, have a good diet. The Aries archetype are hit and run type of eaters, and they truly eat to live – they need the fuel and resources to keep that bounding energy fed.  Take time to eat, rest your adrenals when they need rest, as they have an entire growing season ahead of them. I’m thinking this is a wonderful time to eat in a balanced way with benefit, as Mars naturally burns sugar; so if you want to give up sugars, this is a good time, just be sure to feed Mars with a lot of protein and good complex carbohydrates.

Be present with you and your hopes and wishes and dreams, the Aries archetype will not lose sight of the goal, however with impulsivity is less inclined to see them through, and Aries warrior activity is merely to gain courage in this new world with new beginning and your evolvement with all of you this new season.

New Moon in Pisces – make your intentions clear and forward thinking!

New Year of Promise
We have a beautiful new moon in Pisces on the 15th, and new moons are a time of making your intentions any given month. I’m finding that this new moon is particularly important and powerful as Jupiter is residing here for a year; for Pisceans this marks their “golden year” as Jupiter is the planet of good luck, healing, miracles, expansion, and magnetic attraction.  Cancers and Scorps are certainly feeling this benevolent energy as well. Jupiter visits Pisces once every twelve years, so the intentions one makes this time around in Pisces, will have lasting effects.  If you’re not sure where Jupiter falls in your chart, I discuss Jupiter’s compassion and it’s sign placement for the year.

As such, I would be especially thoughtful on the placement of Jupiter in your chart, and how you expect and intend to have Jupiter feed the important themes of your life for the next year. Furthermore, know that we’ve had a caravan of planets stacked in Pisces this month, weaving their planetary nuances and gifts under this Piscean-Jupiter spell. Venus,  Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, and the Sun have all been lovingly mixing it up all month to harmonize and expand the best of themselves collectively; and the benefit upon your behalf is powerful.  So do take some moments to leverage this gift, be still, meditate; and feel the fullness of who you are now, and who you are becoming, and surrender to their magic.

As winter wanes and I sense the adventurous and energetic spirit of the Aries archetype just on the horizon, this is the perfect meditative space; truly the signature of Pisces as we linger into all that we’ve become.  Keep your body hydrated, the lymph clear and moving, boost your immune system with B vitamins, Vitamin C, double your vitamin intake if you feel that you need it, keep the body and joints lubricated with your essential fatty acids, and protect your aura.

Happy New Moon-ing!

Fantastic Radio Show today – the sign of Pisces, the planet Neptune – time to enjoy a massage!

It's a beautiful planet
I am beyond pleased with how fanciful, enlightening, and gently invigorating today’s show was.  I believe we covered the elements of Pisces in terms of its archetype, its ruler, its personality, its mystical and delusional self, and how it relates to our health, immune systems, and our body as a whole.  In terms of cleansing, the body is so willing to undertaking the Master Cleanse, while building it appropriately in order to avoid those Spring allergies.

Dr.LeAnne also shed some light upon why citrus is so beneficial in terms of anti-histamine production and why the Master Cleanse works so harmoniously right now. We talked about the lymph and the Spleen, the duality these share; and she shared some great tips on supporting you lymph and massaging it as well. I’m guessing that you have no better time of the year to partake in and indulge in a massage – so go get a great massage this month!

We also discussed which foods, essential oils, and supplements being so privy to this time of year and Piscean needs.  Have you had an organic orange this week? They are especially delicious right now!

And I absolutely loved mapping the AstroCleansology body, and explaining WHY we energetically funnel the energy of the cosmos through our bodies on this beautiful planet, this can be supported by hard core science in the field of Physics!

I am in love with AstroCleansology, and am delighted beyond belief to be sharing this journey with all of you, and with my dear friend, Dr.LeAnne!  And yes, my book is being written this year, and will be complete come December 31! Keep your eyes wide open, a lot of big, wonderful stuff is in store this year!

Happy Cleansing!

And Mars goes direct, FINALLY! But first…be sure to do this!

HOORAY!!!! FINALLY!!!!  I’m starting to sigh big sighs of relief; yet somehow they are quite energizing for me – that’s the magic of Mars, it is an energizing planet full of vim and vigor. This lovely little red planet is finally going to be moving forward after nearly three long months of a retrograde position, or backward motion. It has certainly taken a toll upon us all, and I could even tell that as some planets were squaring off with Pluto in February and early March – it intensified this  Mars retrograde business even more so.

Mars has everything to do with your action, your will, and energy, for it rules the adrenals and blood. Mars is that delicious energy drive that starts new projects and gets you moving seemingly impulsively at times. Since it’s the first sign of the zodiac, Mars must have the drive,  energy, and magnetic pull to move the entire zodiac along into a new season of growth!

Physically, it is a secondary ruler of the heart as it rules muscle.  Leo rules the heart and the spine and back behind the heart.  With Mars in Leo since October, the heart and cardiovascular system certainly have been impacted. And yet again, today, I found out that my colleague’s best friend’s husband suddenly passed from a massive heart-attack earlier this month. Sadly, that brings the count to seven people I’ve known directly or indirectly who have had sudden, massive, deadly heart attacks during this retrograde season, not to mention the public passing of Joannie Rochette’s mother.  And I was saddened by the recent hospitalizations of former President Bill Clinton, and former Vice-President Dick Cheney with their life-threatening heart ailments.

Even though Mars is finally moving forward, it has taken a toll on us all. Mars was retrograde while kidney likes to energize during the winter season, and a weak Mars makes for less dynamic kidney essence and fortitude. As such, I believe it to be best practice to keep supporting kidneys and adrenals well through the summer and into the fall. Both networks were hampered this winter, and will absolutely need supports to refuel and replenish while they’re “out-of-season” so to speak – especially if a heart, cardiovascular, or endocrine problem is involved. So that’s why I think it’s important to continue with the Thyromin for thyroid, pituitary, and adrenal support. It’s important to continue with Rehemogen, Ningxia Red, HRT, and CardiaCare as well. Don’t forget your Omega 3s and Essential Fatty Acids such as Omega Blue, and of course, Mineral Essence and Super B are a must. (In fact, I’m coming to believe that the latter three are never seasonal and non-negotiable, they are daily musts. Double-up when stressed or retrograded.)

So as I’m savoring this dynamic life-giving forward motion movement of Mars that is going to launch mid-week, I’m reminded to reflect upon this mars retrograde period with tender. loving, and adoring gratitude. For when Mars moves forward, there’s no looking back; and in reflection we have closure, which helps us to seamlessly move forward.  I’m finding there is much to be grateful for since December 21, for Mars in Leo falls in my house of career and achievement. Do you  know which house Mars falls in with your sign?

The beautiful blessing is that we can be still and meditate and flood ourselves with uber compassion before Mars turns direct, this will be magnified not only by the kindhearted signature of Pisces this month, Jupiter will be there expanding this benefic rhythm as it is a planet of expansion, miracles, and healing. Meditating with oil blends such as 3 Wise Men, Surrender, Humility, Magnify Your Purpose, Present Time, Joy, Frankincense, and Gathering are all fine choices in my eyes. In fact, I’m really liking the choice of Surrender essential oil blend as it is perfect for reflection, and will help tame, or tone-down the Mars driven warrior archetype within, just enough to work with the energy. The icing on the cake is that the oils found in Surrender are wonderful for the liver and liver wellness, and liver starts energizing just as Aries bolts onto the scene.  Perfect timing!

If you don’t know how to meditate, just enjoy uninterrupted stillness in your day, and merely focus on the patterns of your breath, and follow your breath’s lead. And I might as well add Valor and Grounding blends, since this rhythm of Pisces can feel surreal given her mutable quality.

Happy Cleansing!

Neptunian inspiration for the Master Cleanse in Pisces

I am utterly amazed at how powerful I am feeling the rhythms,  nuances, and personalities of not only the sign archetypes, but their ruling planets, and the planets that play with them in the houses that they govern.

Neptune is Pisces ruler, and Neptune is named after the Roman god of the sea – ruling all bodies of water such as lakes, rivers, streams, and oceans.  I blogged about the Sun in Pisces last month, and since then, we now have five wonderful planets playing in the twelfth house that Pisces naturally rules: Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Uranus, and the Sun.  This is a time of healing, coming together, and becoming aware and open to the unknown.

What I’m finding, is that Pisces  naturally gravitates toward seeing all that is good in the world and is at one with the best in all of us. What I’m also finding is that Neptune, it’s ruler, not only rules inspiration and spirituality, it rules those things that are hidden that we don’t immediately recognize as toxic to our spirit and our physical bodies.  As such, Pisces also rules our lymphatic system which protects us from foreign invaders and toxic poisons.

Because Pisces is a water element, with Neptune as it’s ruler, I believe that this time is such a perfect time to be doing a targeted cleanse, or a deep tissue cleanse. Our bodies are naturally tuning into strengthening our immune systems and the lymphatic tissues and fluids are wanting to be flushed, and cleared out of old stagnant energies and toxins. Personally, I have been so deeply moved by this rhythm, that I absolutely cannot resist the urge to start a Master Cleanse!  Clearly the seasons are starting to change dramatically, and the outer world is inspiring this.

Here in the midwest, we are starting to thaw out, Saturn’s icy and crystallized grip is lessening as we move away from the heart of winter.  The lakes are thawing, giant icicles are thinning,  snow banks are shrinking, and all of those things that were trapped and frozen in the ice and snow are being revealed by the warmth of the Sun, broken down even moreso, and washed away.  The warmth is stirring our immune systems to recognize the myriad of trapped and frozen things, isolate them, and be done with them. There is no time, in my eyes, more perfect than right now, to get started on a Master Cleanse.

My only caution is that if you haven’t done any other type of targeted cleanse, namely, a complete and thorough Colon Cleanse, don’t even think about starting a Master Cleanse. You’ll make yourself sick and miserable for it is a deep tissue cleanse. And if your “surface” tissue are toxic and blocked, there’s  no way this will be a good experience for you. So please, Colon Cleanse, Yeast Cleanse, and Parasite Cleanse FIRST – and then the Master Cleanse. I really don’t like recommending that anyone do a Master Cleanse until they’ve had a good  year of cleansing and building under their belt. It’s intense and your body can only be as successful as you help and support it.

The Sun Shines in Pisces – barefoot and inspired!

The Sun moved into compassionate Pisces last week, and a shimmering quality of imagining and believing in the good of the season seems to permeate as the days are becoming longer. The warmth of Spring is on the horizon and spring fever seems to stir within as we’re ready to be steeped in this beautiful, blossoming season around the corner. It’s as if we’re all coming out of hibernation, absorbing the sun’s rays, absorbing our  ideas and hopes for this year, digging deeper into our own psyche, and wanting to take in the world.

It’s interesting to me that Pisces rules the feet, which certainly makes sense upon reflection. In reflexology, the feet represent the whole of the person, the entire body from the ankles up have reflex points mapped on the bottom of our feet and our toes, the feet encompasses the whole. Pisces is  the last sign of the zodiac, for it completes the zodiac, ushering in a sense of wholeness and completeness. It is the sign that embraces the sense of oneness, timelessness, and wholeness. And as the zodiac is complete, so Pisces completes the body physical with spiritual, ready to take the whole a step forward into something new; which is exactly what she does when she steps forward and meets Aries next month.  Aries is the first sign bounding out of the zodiac, powerful enough to pull the remaining eleven signs of the zodiac with it, it MUST have grounded, strong feet to run, because there’s no looking back once spring has sprung!

Pisces is also responsible for our immune systems, and of course, the lymphatic system. I believe Pisces rules the Spleen (which would include Pancreas as they share the same meridian), and I also believe Pisces indirectly rules lymph and blood. Although Pisces is a water element astrologically, it’s timing with the seasons and Chinese Medicine clearly weaves an earth essence as well, and explains why Pisces can be so adaptable with earth as it is a mutable sign. As a ruler of our immune system in terms of lymph, blood quality, ushering us into the warmth and playground of spring, Pisces is deeply connected into being, experiencing, and love of the whole.  Being responsible for weaving the whole being into one identity, Pisces, like other water signs, can sense the layers and energies of human emotion and need. They can be naturally psychic.

Pisces, in general, tend to not have the most robust health, and I think it’s not just because they have everything to do with our immune system and lymphatic function, these people tend to be “psychic sponges” – they just absorb so much from their environment. They tend to want to experience the world, be at one with others, feel what others are experiencing; consequently, they take on more than just sensory information, they take on all energy forms easily – seen and unseesn. And as such, not only do their immune systems need protection, so do their auras and energy fields. I find that the essential oils of Valor blend help stabilize this archetype to be fully grounded and harmonized with their own energies, Gathering blend helps to pull their own energies within and to resonate with their own magnetic poles, Grounding helps to keep them gounded, and White Angelica or 3 Wise Men are wonderful for protecting their auras.

Physically, this is a sign that seems to be at one with cleansing as Neptune is it’s ruler – Neptune is named after the Roman god of the sea which rules all bodies of water. Although water can be refreshing and captivating, its depths are hidden and dangers can lurk though the water can seemingly create an illusion of something benevolent. Neptune also rules toxins, so I’m finding that Pisces is an excellent sign to do a targeted cleanse, namely the Master Cleanse.  The Master Cleanse seems like a good one this time of year since the citrus fruits are in season and are a necessary component once completing the Master Cleanse.

This is also a time of building the blood with Rehemogen or Ningxia Red. I believe Pisces is also a player in blood fluidity, and balance. Essential oils such as Thyme, Thieves, or Inner Defense helps to keep the blood thin.  Enzymes are very important this season, as Neptune also rules toxins, enzymes are necessary to break down toxins; and as such, minerals and B vitamins are a must to help the enzymes do their job.

The oils of Grapefruit, Cypress, Lemon, Orange, and Helichrysum are excellent for the lymph as well. This is also an excellent time for watching one’s blood sugar and supporting the pancreas, and Multi-Greens as well as more Ningxia Red!

Enjoy this month of Pisces, Jupiter is in this sign for a full year; this is all about expanding the psyche, unearthing that which is unseen or unconscious, feeling and merging with the world, and being compassionately and lovingly at one with it all.

You can find the above mentioned essential oils and nutritional supplements  HERE.

Mars in Leo and retrograde…take care of your heart & take it easy, please!

Valentine
I am compelled to implore all of you to take very seriously your heart health and cardiovascular system, for all of us, our hearts have been enduring a silent, but very potent and serious stress.  And, sadly, there is evidence mounting all around me as of late pointing to this silent, but deadly aspect in the heavens. Since October, I have intimately  known of, or have been within the vicinity of six deaths, all sudden, unexpected, and heart related. Five of them have since happened once Mars retrograded December 21; and as I write, my dear Aunt and Uncle are suddenly off to D.C. as my 89-year-old grandfather not only has pneumonia, but has suddenly developed an arrhythmia and congestive heart failure looms.  He is not himself by any means.

Last October, Mars moved in to the sign of Leo, and is staying there for eight months. Eight months is absolutely unheard of for Mars to make its home in this sign, usually Mars stays for about six to eight weeks and moves on; and Mars is staying for eight months. Now, mid-October, I think many of us felt the power of Mars moving into Leo; we were invigorated, we were on the move, things were changing and we felt bright optimism in our creative endeavors. We experienced renewed power, action, focus, and desire for our creative self-expression, and socializing with the world.

8 Strength
The sign of Leo is a fixed fire sign and is ruled by the Sun, we know the power, warmth, and vitality of the essence of our own Sun come birthday time. That invigorated warmth within, the reflection of self, and desire to express and remember the essence of our soulful self come birthday time, that is the pride and glory of the expression of you.  Because Leo is so life-giving, proud, regal, and loves because Leo needs to give love; Leo rules the heart, the spine, and the back – for the back is symbolic of courage. I believe that Leo probably rules the Thymus gland, as it sits in front of the heart; and helps us protect and metabolize the energies of the world. (If you feel like the world is coming at you with too much strength and power, there are ways to protect it with essential oils and energy medicine techniques).  And I wouldn’t be surprised if Leo co-rules Spleen somehow as the Sun has everything to do with our vitality, our Spleen protects our immune systems and the body’s vitality.

In December, Mars started grinding to a halt, it energies were slowing down  as it retrograded on December 21. Could you feel your vitality and energies slowing down, especially,  as the days grew longer? Are you finding that sticking to a rigorous exercise routine as a New Year’s resolution has been seemingly impossible and hard on your body? That is the diminished state of Mars being retrograde, it isn’t available to protect us and project outwardly our energies as it normally does; instead, the energies are projected inwards.  (In fact, I had recently blogged about this, and coincidentally, that sweet Brittany Murphy died the day Mars retrograded, Mars is a co-ruler of hers as a Scorpio, and her Mars in her natal chart was in Leo. She died of sudden cardiac arrest related to pneumonia, apparently.)

Then we had a powerful Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on the 31st and New Moon Solar Eclipse in January. Mercury was retrograde after Christmas, so the heart was really having a lot of stress placed upon it during the darkest days of winter. So the heart and circulatory system were requiring more supports, and now are competing with the kidneys as the kidneys are energizing in the Winter.  It’s easy for one’s kidneys to become weaker under these conditions with heart’s needs; and if the kidneys aren’t being supported nutritionally, it hampers the work of kidney and heart.

Additionally, as we moved into Aquarius, which is an air sign, the circulatory system was being awakened and energized, and the nervous system was being stimulated as well. I found that during the time of Aquarius I was feeling very ungrounded, nervous energy,  and was having a lot of air imbalances in my body – which is symbolized as digestive upset, aching joints, scattered thoughts, and getting winded very easily. And so, it has been a rough season for the heart and the k idneys, with Aquarius irritating the system, instead of invigorating it as it normally would if Mars were still moving direct.

Mars finally goes direct March 10, and if you’re like me, I’ve been chomping at the bit for Mars to get moving – all of my work projects seemed to have slowed considerably, like my blogging! There are so  many things that I want to start moving again, but I won’t push them since I know the energies above in the heavens are projecting down here on our planet; and I would be acting malevolenty by doing that which is not in harmony with the beaming energies of the cosmos that are bathing me day after day.

So friends, please, please, please take care of your heart and your circulatory system. Lay low, don’t push your work out routine or overexert your body. The body is under a lot of stress and our adrenals have been working over time to support the entire body. This is an excellent time to be supporting adrenals…and support them well into the summer as Aries is rules adrenals and is on the horizon.

For adrenals I would be doubling my Vitamin B, Vitamin C,  Mineral Essence, and Thyromin. I’ve actually been taking a Raw Adrenal supplement since my adrenals and kidneys got whacked last November from a nasty kidney infection that had me in the hospital over Thanksiving Day.

For heart – please continue with CardiaCare, HRT, Rehemogen, Minerals, Vitamins, Thyromin,  Calcium, B Vitamins, and use your essential oils such as Cypress, Marjoram, Aroma Life, Joy, Harmony, Ylang Ylang, Joy, Sandalwood; and don’t forget to double your Omega 3s such as Omega Blue.  Natural Progesterone (Progessence and Prenolone +) reportedly protects coronary arteries from going into spasms. And drink Cayenne Pepper water daily – it will help with circulation, inflammation, and support the cardiovascular system.

I would continue diligent support of the heart and circulatory system well into May, in fact, I would keep going through July and into August when Leo is in season, and Leo will be hungry to feed heart, then as well. Heart has had a difficult time this season, and we want to see it through this season and beyond. Heart will be happier come late summer and into the fall.

UPDATE 2/22/10:

This is what I posted at the Cleansing Forum on a related topic - moon square sun, can you feel it?:

i’m feeling it big time. the moon is in gemini, was void of course yesterday morning – ugh – so tired! the past few days i’ve been serously wondering if i have a cardiac problem bc i’ve been SO TIRED when heart energizes midday. just exhausted beyond belief.

then i realized the moon was VOC, then moved to gemini (air sign), and squared the sun. the sun rules leo (heart), and the heart has been so weak from this extended mars retrograde. the moon was squaring venus (thyroid) and jupiter (liver) – no wonder i’ve been so tired and blood feeling so depleted!!!!

right now the moon is opposite my ascendant – so i haven’t been wanting to be very sociable. and the moon is square my natal moon in virgo – that totally explains why i’ve lost my appetite, i’ve been super finicky, and uber annoyed when my routine has been disrupted.

THANK GOODNESS the moon moves into cancer, a fellow water sign tomorrow, after being void of course during the day – but it will feel so much better.

TAKE IT EASY ON YOUR HEART AND REST!!!

how many days until march 10? i’m ready to give mars a big fat party for finally going direct and enlivening us all!

xo

ps. i was so sad to hear about the canadian figure skater whose mom died very suddenly yesterday morning of a massive heart attack, she never regained consciousness. ugh.

The Importance of Moon-Void-of-Course, your health, and your spirit.

The Deep Sky
You can see that along the right side of this blog I’ve posted the times that the moon is void-of-course,  or VOC, in central standard time. I find that knowing the moon VOC is really an important thing, not only does it have an impact upon initiating projects (they won’t go anywhere), it has an impact upon your health and well-being.

My moon is in Virgo, so I have a delicate digestive system, my intestines tend to act up with any imbalance within or without; the air aspect of the Aquarius sign sure is giving my intestines and digestive system a run for their money! I am also gluten intolerant, allergic to dairy and eggs, and have a hard time with some fruits, and it’s just a reflection on how easy my digestive system becomes inflammed. As I’ve been able to care and strengthen my digestive fire, I can tolerate a wider range of foods, however, my moon is a player in this as well.

The moon is your emotional self, it is a water sign ruled by the sign of Cancer (which happens to rule the breasts and stomach!).  How we react to the world, our gut instincts, and reflexive actions are an indicator of our moon.

When the moon is VOC, it means that it is leaving a sign and entering another sign, I believe the moon switches signs every few days or so. Sometimes the moon has a nice transition into a new sign, it’s seamless and flows easily since it maintains aspects with other planets; however, when the moon moves, usually it is VOC, it has no aspect to
anything. It isn’t tethered gravitationally in a sense, and with the body, I’m sensing that the breasts and stomach are upset and weakened. There is nothing helping the moon to stabilize, be invigorated, or be protected; and what happens when your stomach and breast (chest) feel unstable? Feel defeated? Feel exposed to the elements? For me, I get really scattered, I feel ungrounded, untethered to the earth and in this kind of strange, uncomfortable, emotional void.

Today I knew the moon was VOC, and wow, my digestive system was upset, I had a runny and loose stools today, they burned a lot – which tells me my digestive tract was quite acidic.  My stomach was upset and gurgly today as well, I couldn’t will myself something to eat until the afternoon, and I was getting the shakes by then. This afternoon I took a long hot baking-soda bath with Clove essential oil, aaaaahhhhh….and then started piddling around the house.

At 5:23pm, suddenly I was feeling a bit more like my glorious self – as if someone plugged the plug back in and joy was just radiating from the inside out. I remembered in that moment the moon was VOC today, and when I looked to see when it was going “direct” it was a 5:24pm. How ’bout that.

This made me realize today, that when the Moon is VOC, we don’t have a lot of protection, stamina, or vitality. In fact, I was learning recently that many people pass when the moon suddenly changes signs or houses.  So, when the moon is VOC, I think it incredibly important to support your heart, circulatory system, your stomach, your digestive system, and take it easy. I think we’re hardwired to take it easy anyway when the moon goes VOC, and that is something to pay attention to!

You can see than Moon VOC intervals can last from a few seconds, to hours, to a few days. Yikes!

So, pay attention to your moon, feed your body, and be easy on your emotional self. You deserve the very best, which means, respecting and loving and honoring your moon.

Full Moon in Leo/Aquarius – it will be powerful!

This evening, you’re going to see the biggest full moon of 2010! The icing on the cake is that you will see Mars, right there on the horizon with the moon as Mars is conjunct this full moon. This is an inviting full moon, so go with the flow, you will certainly FEEL it as Leo is a fire sign, displaying its full moon in airy Aquarius.  How appropriate that this moon will feel bigger than most as it literally will look bigger than all of the full moons this year.

Two weeks ago we had a new moon solar eclipse in Capricorn, and that was incredibly powerful not only because it was a solar eclipse, we had Mercury going forward, and Jupiter moving into Pisces the same weekend. So it was wonderful for intentions and goals not only for the month, but for the year; and this full moon is going to reflect that.

Leo is going to wake up and refine our true heart’s desire coming off of that new moon, it’s really going to stir our passions and ask us to really embrace the power of our ideas and passions; and not to cave.  It’s going to demand that we refine and keep going forward with our creative self, and receive the support and recognition that we deserve.  Being in the sign of Aquarius its going to ask that we not get stuck in the pride and leadership of Leo, but value our own uniqueness, and everyone else’s uniqueness as we move forward collectively, yet with our individual goals and needs.

I’m thinking of fluidity between the two demands, and flexibility. Some essential oils to embrace would be Surrender, Hope, Acceptance, Gathering, and Harmony. Sulfurzyme is a must now and the next few days. Leo rules the heart and back, Aquarius the ankles and circulation so HRT, CardiaCare, Rehemogen, Cypress, OrthoSport, Super B, Mineral Essence, Ningxia Red, Oregano and Cayenne are good choices, too.
