New Years Resolution – Don’t Diet, CLEANSE!

For those of you considering a new weight loss program come the new year, why not consider cleansing instead of doing a rigid diet and exercise program? We know that often times people fail at this particular resolution, and that it’s  just not a good time of year to try to lose weight – since the body is instinctively humming along to the winter energies and perserving all of the reserves that it can.

supporting your digestive system, and discovering the foods that work with you. The beauty is that as you start cleansing, you start losing weight by default!    

Why would this be?

Well, our bodies store toxins in fat, when the liver and colon cannot eliminate toxins, the body’s wisdom kicks in, trying to store the toxins as far from critical organs as possible. This also explains why we have edema or retain water, the body is trying to dilute harmful invaders to preserve itself. As you cleanse and eliminate toxins and invaders, your body no longer NEEDS excess fat and water! On top of it, as you cleanse, you start to discover what works for your body and what doesn’t, it’s hard to believe that just a few years ago I was drinking Coke, lotsa caffeine, loaded up on sugars, carbs, and eating the standard american diet.l

Now, I’m organic everything. My favorite beverage is fresh spring water, and finding new bottled spring waters to consume.  The majority of my meals include fruits and vegetables, my meat take is limited, and believe it or not, my body does not like carbs in the form of sugar, potatoes, or breads. It triggers yeast for me. This is typical for many women, and I believe that any woman who is carrying excess weight – whether fat or water – around her lower abdomen and hips is most likely yeasted and has an overgrowth of candida.

Start with a colon cleanse, and just watch the magic happen. Of course, using the Cleansing Trio as outlined in Dr. LeAnne’s book is the way to start, and bump up the digestive enzymes if you have any sort of bloat, gas, or stinky stools. You might want to invest in some Peppermint for any detox reactions, because they’re bound to happen.

But the beauty is that you’ll gradually lose weight without thinking about it, without exercising! You will become more attuned to your bodies needs and wisdom, and you will clear out some of the emotional baggage you’ve been carrying with you all of these years. Can’t get that from just any old weight-loss program!

I’ll take cleansing over dieting ANYDAY! In fact, I don’t ever endorse or recommend any kind of diet…unless of course, it’s the yeast diet, juicing diet, or raw food detox diet.
